Terms of purchase

1. Who sells

SoleQuiz is sold by Solecraft AB, org. no. 559601-3176, Mogatan 21, 702 13 Örebro, Sweden. Write to info@solecraft.se with questions, complaints, or to withdraw from a purchase.

2. What you buy

A right to use SoleQuiz, a quiz service on the web, with the plan you choose: Free, Individual, Bas, Organisation or an agreement of your own. What each plan holds, such as users, players in a game and quizzes, is on the prices page when you buy.

The plan belongs to the organisation in the service that you buy it for. The one who buys must be its admin, and for a school or a company have the right to buy for it.

We develop the service all the time. We may change how it works, but not take away what your plan holds during a period you have paid for.

3. Prices and paying

The prices are those on the prices page when you buy. Individual is priced with VAT (25 %). The plans for schools and companies are priced without VAT, which is added.

By card: you pay in advance for a month or a year at Stripe, by card or another way of paying shown there. The receipt comes by mail.

By invoice: we invoice a year at a time, to be paid within 30 days. On late payment we may charge interest under the Interest Act (räntelagen) and, after a reminder, pause the plan.

If a payment by card does not go through, Stripe tries again for a while. If it still does not, the plan becomes Free again, and nothing you have made is removed.

We tell you at least 30 days before the price of a plan you have changes. You may end it before the new price holds.

4. How long, and ending

A plan paid by card goes on by itself, a month or a year at a time, until you end it. End it whenever you like under People and settings, Payment. It then holds to the end of the period you have paid for. A period begun is not paid back, except under the right of withdrawal or for a fault.

A plan by invoice holds for a year. We get in touch before it ends, and it goes on only if you order it again.

When a plan ends, the account goes on as a free one, with the free plan's limits, and your quizzes are kept. A free organisation that has not been used for six months is removed, after a mail a month before.

We may end the agreement if the service is used against these terms or the law, and then pay back what is paid for the time left.

5. Right of withdrawal for private persons

As a consumer you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of the day you bought it, under the Distance Contracts Act (lagen (2005:59) om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler). You need not say why.

The service starts at once when you have paid, at your request. If you withdraw, you pay for the days you have used it and get the rest back.

To withdraw, write to info@solecraft.se that you withdraw, or use the form at the end of this page. We pay back within 14 days of your message, the same way you paid.

6. Faults and complaints

If the service does not work as promised, tell us at info@solecraft.se as soon as you can, and we put it right.

As a consumer you have the rights of the Act on digital content and digital services (lagen (2022:260) om tillhandahållande av digitalt innehåll och digitala tjänster): if we do not put a fault right within a reasonable time, you may have the price lowered or end the agreement.

We do our best to keep the service up at all hours, but it may be down at times, as when a new version is put out. We say so in advance when we can.

7. Your quizzes, and how the service is used

What you put in, such as quizzes, pictures and clips, is yours, and you answer for having the right to use it. You give us the right to store and show it, so that the service works.

The service may not be used for anything against the law or others' rights, or to harm the service or its players.

An account is for one person and is not shared, not even within a school or a company: each who makes or runs quizzes has an account of their own. We may close an account that is shared, after telling its owner.

The bank's ready quizzes may be used and changed inside the service.

8. Responsibility

Towards a school or a company, we answer only for direct loss we have caused through negligence, and at most for what has been paid for the plan in the last 12 months. We do not answer for lost profit or other indirect loss.

Towards a private person the law's rules hold, and nothing in these terms takes away rights the law gives a consumer.

Neither side answers for what it cannot help, such as war, a strike or a fault in others' networks.

9. Personal data

How we handle personal data is on the privacy page. What a school or a company puts in, such as its players' names, we handle on the organisation's behalf, as its processor. Write to us for a data processing agreement.

10. Changes to the terms

We tell you at least 30 days before these terms change in a way that matters to you. If you do not want the new terms, you may end the plan before they hold.

11. Disputes

Swedish law holds. Write to us first: we want to solve it.

As a consumer you may also turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, arn.se. A dispute with a school or a company is settled by a general court in Sweden.

Fill it in and send it to info@solecraft.se, if you want to withdraw from the purchase. A message of your own in other words works just as well.
